Oh, hi tumblr. Sorry I neglect you sometimes. But lemme tell you this: DIRTY DIAMONDS is open for submissions! Check out and share this flyer with all your comically-inclined lady friends. The theme this time around is BREAK-UPS, and we’ll be debuting this fabulous fourth issue at SPX on Sept. 14-15 in Bethesda, MD! Yeah, I dunno how we got a table, either!

Uh! It’s been 11 days since Hourly Comic Day, so I guess it’s time to post my hourly comics! Punctual as always. I also forgot it was HCD at first, so I had to track down the only cardstock and pencils I could find in the supply closet.
I went to work, went about my day, and got very drunk.
I have no explanation for 11:00.

The 24-Hour Comic Challenge is TOMORROW! Starting at 12pm, I’ll be defying my very sleepy nature and attempting to complete a 24-page comic in 24 hours with 7 other great artists. Come see how we’re holding up Atomic City Comics at 638 South Street, or just come for the grande finale at noon on Sunday to see who got it done!

B.Y.O.T.Y. BOOK FAIR is tomorrow! Little Berlin catalogued tons of the books they’ve collected from artists over the years, it’s SO COOL. Come see me and my Dirty Diamonds partner, Claire Folkman! I’ll have copies of the new Men of the GOP book, some prints, a comic about my cat, and some other stuff.

Good news, everyone! Our printing timeline has been pushed back, so that means we’re extending the deadline for Dirty Diamonds! If you submitted yesterday, we’ll be in touch with you soon. But for the rest of you, keep on sending us your comics!!

The small book version of Men of the GOP will be available this Saturday for B.Y.O.T.Y. (Bring Your Own Table, Yo!) at Little Berlin in Fishtown! It’s an awesome little fair that you should check out if you’re in the area - runs from 12pm-6pm. They also gather books and comics made by local artists for their in-house library! This will be my third year there, and it’s always full of lots of cool art and homebrewed beer. Stop on by!
